Recueil d’un corpus des pratiques éducatives enseignantes et parentales en Polynésie française. Présentation-bilan du projet PrEEPP

Abstract : This article presents a project whose goal was to create a database of teaching and parenting educational practices in the socio-cultural and linguistic context of French Polynesia. The literature review, focused in an interactionist and ecosystem approach, underlines, on the one hand, the links between parental education practices and the child's school adaptation and, on the other hand, the importance of considering the plurilingualism in classroom interactions. In terms of method, actual teaching and parenting practices were filmed, whereas the declared practices were collected by semi-directive interviews. The corpus was transcribed with the Elan software, using the coding proposed by the ICOR convention. The corpus is constituted by 114 films and interviews, including 52 in class and 62 in family. The discussions present some of the analyzes planned for this corpus. Several publications have already been completed. The transcripts will be made available to the scientific community on a dedicated to the project. The project was realized in a partnership between the University of French Polynesia, the University of the Antilles, the Ministry of Education of French Polynesia and with the financial support of the French Ministry of Overseas and the Vice-Rectorate of Polynesia.
