Approche psychosociologique de la formation professionnelle dans les Antilles et la Guyane françaises : entre désirs de responsabilités et conduites d’évitement

Abstract : Through the study of the approaches to professional training in Martinique, Guadeloupe and French Guiana, this article compares how training in these territories of French America compares to training in France and then highlights the changes that have occurred as a result of the introduction and development of the new information technologies into distance education programmes in those territories. Our purpose is to initiate a reflection on the need to examine the relationship between employment and training by integrating the role of politics and the social and cultural context.
