Abstract : This original thesis attempts to develop an original approach to the territoriality of ancient ceramic populations in the Caribbean archipelago. In this it constitutes an attempt to transcribe the theoretical and conceptual contributions of social and cultural geography to the archaeology of the pre-Columbian settlement of the archipelago. This theoretical work is based on various case studies taken within a geographical space ranging from Martinique to Barbuda via Dominica and Antigua.
